Zero Suppression

From OLAP

Zero Suppression is a form of Constraint featured on PowerOLAP slices that enables user to hide those rows and columns that have zero or null values and return only the rows and columns with non-zero value in their slice view upon request for a data. This is very useful especially when dealing with large volumes of data as this minimizes the amount of "junk" or "worthless" data that a user will have to deal with.
