Snowflake Schema

A snowflake Schema is a more complex variation of the star schema due to the fact that the Dimensions in this data warehouse schema are normalized into multiple related tables. Similar with the star schema, the Snowflake schema derived its name from its structure which resembles that of a snowflake.
