Aggregate Weights

Aggregate weights are used when a member in an aggregate must be assigned a multiplied value in relation to other members in the aggregate in order for data to be properly represented. When an aggregate weight is assigned to a certain value, that value will be multiplied to its aggregate weight in the instant that the value is rolled up into its aggregate member under the hierarchy. Aggregate weights can carry both positive and negative values, with the presence of a negative aggregate weight as an indication of a subtraction operation to be performed. The default aggregate weight is '1'.
